I think the only person responsible for Michael Jackson looking bizzare was Michael Jackson-

Little Richard Syndrome is essentially when you surround yourself with too many yes men and bannish anyone from your entourage who expresses an alternate opinion to the point you have no one left in your life to tell you you look a mess and are acting a fool. I don't think anyone could argue that this damaged him on not just one but many levels.

The Michael on the left is how I choose to remember him. He'd already begun to alter himself, but at least it was somewhat tasteful. The Michael on the right in comparison, to me, looks a little disturbing. Like a bleached out carol channing on anabolic steroids.

I won't argue that he had vitiligo, but he also saw plastic surgeons and dermatologists and underwent procedures to lighten his skin. I don't know why it's such a tough pill for some people to swallow that this man intentionally altered his appearance.
