![]() If you're like me and always looking for new ways to get your links up on a do follow page to promote your sites, here's some tips on how to save valuable time and effort
1) Always verify "big lists" of article directories or directory submission sites. Watch out for lists "padded" by dead sites, non-directory sites, misrepresented PR or other crap. See: http://www.highrevenue.com/spam-and-...ctory-listings 2) Avoid newer directories -- One of the oldest scams out there is to buy a dropped domain with decent PR, install a directory script, recruit eager webmasters with free listings, sell the "populated" directory before it drops to its new PR of 0. See: http://www.highrevenue.com/spam-and-...-watch-out-for 3) Many blogs want your comment CONTENT but don't want to give you link love in return -- You've heard of "Win Win" situation, right? These clowns are all about the WIN LOSE situation--they get content (your comments) and you get DICK for your efforts. How do these blogs do this? Selective no follows and No follow cloaking. The most common method of selective no follow tagging is when the main COMMENTS link is no followed but the comment page itself appears to be DO FOLLOW. No follow cloaking occurs when the comment links on a page appear to be do follow but are actually rel=no follow but you can't see it due to CSS fuckery.
