Worst CTR ever? - GoFuckYourself.com

I have extremely limited design capabilities, so I hired a pro to create my next gallery template. I emphasized the need for a good CTR as I, after some time, have no problems getting visitors or converting with my sponsors.

I got the template and tested it out yesterday. Behold the sad results from day one (December 02):

I submit with Russian Submitter, so obviously the traffic is extremely low in the first couple of days, but the results is very disappointing so far.

983 visitors and only 4 (raw) clicked on. That's a bizarre CTR of 1:245 - the lowest I have ever experienced. And I speak with some authority on the subject, as I helped a ton of newbies with their lousy CTR ratios (it's all good karma).

Just thought I'd share this with you, as I am amazed almost to the point of laughing. Feel free to share your (poor) CTR as well ;-)

Something seems off here.. I have seem galleries where they've been around so long the thumbs arent even there any more.. with higher ratios than that ....

Maybe the stats Farted or something

are you using granny to promote a teen site maybe...never had that bad ctr...i usually have one around 7%....

depends on design and content, of course. Also plz keep in mind that the largest TGP's (like hun, worldsex, etc.) have extremely worst CTR in opposite to small TGP's

I wasn't going to post the gallery here, because I didn't want to offend the designer, but the gallery isn't that unique and I'm not even sure if the guy is hanging here. Anyways, here goes:

I really like the gallery, and I still can't understand the CTR of 1:245.

I think the stats are accurate. I am using Adult Platinium (of course ;) and I clicked the advertisement myself - seconds later it showed in the stats. The gallery is promoted as 'teen' on most sites.

Pretty page but putting my surfer head on nothing on it makes me want to click on anything other than the pics.

Maybe the fact that you're using a sponsor that doesn't show all your clicks is part of your problem. Anyway, I don't see the obsession some people have with ctr. It's all about gallery impressions to sales, period.

whaaa? The Hun has a terrible click through rate compared to small tgps? Says who? The Hun has better traffic that any tgp, big or small.

How many PPS sponsors do you think show you your real first page uniques? Probably about the same number that show all your signups.

Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
