Webmaster Union / Health Isurance ... repost?
A couple three weeks ago someone posted the link to this Media group you could join if you made more than $5000 in the industry....
I thought the subject was something to do with *webmaster union* .. but I guess I was wrong. Could someone repost the link to that place? Thanks |

I called the brokers office, sounds like its ~$200/mo for insurance through the group depending on which plan or whatever. A little higher than individual plans, but guranteed acceptance through the group. So if your a sick self-employed webmaster who needs to get insurance & you can't on your own - this seems to be a way to do it. |

All unions do is guarantee that the lazy-ass piece of shit employees get treated as well as the productive employees.
Using "union" is a poor choice of words in this case. As most webmasters are self-employed, who would play the down-trodden taken-advantage-of union webmaster, and who would pay the hard-ass just-trying-get-their-lazy-asses-to-work boss? |

Hmm...my wife has a lot of health problems so I'm paying $365 a month for her insurance...$200 would be a bargain.
I only pay like $60 a month for my insurance since I'm a young, healthy guy. |

I buy individual health insurance and honestly it's pretty cheap, only like $119/month. It's HMO but all of my doctors are on "the list" and the coverage is great. Not a big expense as far as I'm concerned.
