Long story story I have a hostory of anxoety and panic attacks.... this weekend I had one resurface which was the worst one in many years.....


So anyways I Xanax is the only thinkg i take now but after the attacjs this weekend the xanax really did nothing...

So i see my shrink today and we talk about bitches and Hos and I brought up what happened...

He suggested to try Cymbalta


After all this time getting of Paxil , Effexor , and other crap i am very hesitant on trying anything else... he gave me a months worth of this stuff to "test" out....


So anybody in this crap?

This may sound crazy, but try Flaxseed oil.

Someone told me to take it for the dry skin I get in the winter and I noticed my anxiety dropped to almost nothing a few days after I started, plus it actually did help with the dry skin.

Any Omega 3 will work, but I don't eat any animal products so I use flaxseed oil. But a good fish oil capsule works too.

I guess Omega 3 fats are very important to normal brain function and most people don't get enough.

A bottle costs less than $10 so it's worth a shot.

I must have missed a thread with what happened.

Did you taper off paxil? I just quit taking it after about 11 months being on it. The next day when I woke up was hell. My head was heavy and spinning and I had electric shock sensations at the same time. Seriously the worst experience in my life.

I won't take any kind of anti depressant shit ever again.

I have seen cymbalta commercials on tv and it seems like it is for housewives with fibromyalgia. "Depression hurts, really hurts".

few years ago i tapered off pPAxil , i went on effexor for a while then tapered off that

I have been off everything except the xanax for the last 2 years

i havent taken this cymbalta yet i am still gogoling about it

i am very hesistant on getting back on any related to SSRI and shit in that class of meds

panic attacks vary - at their worst they are a living hell. it's the same fight or flight response that a person would get if they were about to die in a crash, or fall out of a plane to their death - except the person may just be sitting on his sofa watching television or at work or at a concert - anywhere. the damage panic attacks do is more to do how they change the person's life than the actual attacks themselves.

some people get panic attacks and forget about them, most can't do that. it becomes a huge problem.

doc gave me cymbalta and it make me sick as shit man... I was puking all night long... took it a day and said fuck that


now I take zoloft... try that man it works..... week later I feel 60% better and everyday is better and better for me

I'm serious, try the Omega 3 supplements.

If you've taken SSRIs you know that shit is poison. The makers also know it's hard as hell to quit but don't tell you that before you start.

Try the natural stuff or fuck up your brain some more, either way is cool.
