and then used a hammer to bash it in to shape?

or have you ever taken shards of glass and used sandpaper on them to make your own bling?

when i was in college i used to make tobacco

not aluminum, but I've made my own silver jewelry at a place near my house where they sell beads and chains and such. Really cool!
