thinking about picking it up today for the PC... anybody here have it yet? Is it good?

While playing Counter-Strike I asked everyone in the game if Left 4 Dead was any good because they advertise the hell out of it on Steam. I instantly got about 8 different people who said "No, it's garbage." They had all played the demo, don't know if you can trust them though - I saw a commercial myself and still thought it looked cool.

I played the demo with some friends.. It was kinda cool and a bit different. I found the funnest part was to go fuck with your teammates by setting off the car alarms and running off leaving them to get hoarded by zombies. It did provide some fun, but I'm not sure if I'd pay $50 bucks for it.

so ign said there are 4 chapters of gameplay...each chapter takes 30 min and hey basically have no story relation to each other
