Any news about the announced iBill EU webmaster solution?

Like others here in the board I also got a personal email from a sales rep. on Monday 21st telling me basically that there would be a billing solution for EU webmasters available shortly, finalizing a merchant account for EU clients in the EU region right now... No fees, not need to set up a US corp etc. etc.

I was advised NOT to register using the current VISA form because there would be a special form for EU clients available later. I was to wait until the new form is online...

How does this match with the email I got today telling me that not finishing the 'standard' VISA registration process would set the accounts to 'do not pay'?

1) Did you as a EU webmaster fill out the current registration form? If so, did you choose the option not to use VISA?

2) Have they also told you to wait for a special EU form and now the 23rd of October deadline for the standard registration is over?

Any other EU webmasters here in the board who have some news on that special sight of the topic? My emails to iBill of today haven't been answered yet so far...

Thanks a lot!

I am In Canada. Really fucked.

Ibill only said that to keep you from going somewhere else ( such as Globill: I have an account there for 9 months: good ).

Then, they put this new "in house rule" of no pay. There was never any mention of nothing up to 6 hours before the 23 rd.

Invoking this rule, they decide to keep your money due, your reserve. Also, they probably will not pay the partners because the $ 50.00 minimum is not reached for many of them. And they fuck you on the rebills....

They are doing pretty well ... for themselves....

I personally never got an email of my rep or Ibill for the Visa registration. I only got an email from an asshole that wanted me to use Ibill for my catalog sales....

If they do not pay you on a timely matter, report them to Visa USA.

I will be posting some info on this on ibillsucks.info on Monday...

I was told that I should fill out the standard visa form but would not be charged the $750 because I'm outside US.

I have filled out the form but did not see any option to use or not to use visa.

Never seen this option. What are you looking at?

I have been verifying things daily with Ibill and as of today USA and EU webmasters are still ok, and everyone else is still not.

This is a mess.... I spoke a few minutes to Ibill, and one idiot sid that they will process Canada. Then Talked to a guy called Jim, and he said that thewy would not. He also confirmed that because the form is not completed, they will not pay. Period!
Then, after getting just a bit of shit , he hanged up....

I called Visa Canada ( 416-367-8742) , Everybody left but they will call back Monday.
Called right after Visa USA ( 650-432-3200 ) to complain that one of their merchants ( Ibill) was committing fraud. Got up to a supervisor, that asked all details by email... Said he also would get vback.

I know I am a small patoto, but if I can cause harm to Ibill, even just a little, it would be such a BIIIIIIIGGGGG pleasure....

A nice detailed statement from Ibill would be great, but I don't expect it. CCBill got slammed here for giving the Aussies too much hope. I don't think Ibill will speculate publicly about anything at all.

They did change the form this week. The tax info field now says "USA Only" and to register if you are EU you choose a country other than USA in the EU.

The IBill EU solution has apparently now been completed. When I registered the form included EU details, so if you're in the EU and haven't registered already, you should do so now.

As a Canadian webmaster, I filled out the form at IBill, I want my money from them, and I was told at the end because I am not a US Based webmaster the Fees did not apply and I wasn't even given a choice about accepting or not accepting VISA.

I contacted CCBIll and they are still telling me to set up a US Based Company.

I know this sucks for you Euro guys but in the end it might be just as well that you start again w/out Ibill. We have all watched this company sink over the last year and with the new Visa rules they could easily pull you down with them. Keep in mind that a high CB rate with Ibill will kill your accounts with other processors too.

My Ibill CB rate is so high they fined me on a regular basis at sites that have a 0.00% CB with ccbill ! All the Ibill system failures, internal theft, poor reps, poor support, ownership transfers... they all add up to chargebacks and a sinking ship.

It may not mean alot to you guys but Im a U.S. webmaster with a U.S. based company. I sat down and manually cancelled hundreds of members at Ibill. I weighed it all and when I was done I realized I just couldnt trust this company to represent me. They cant even answer my e-mails so I know I cant trust them to represent my business. They are essentially a middle man between your company and Visa. Do you trust them to do the right thing for you if there is a problem ? Even U.S. webmasters are gonna have to make that decision.

For the past few days ccbill has said that a US corp is NOT necessary. I got this from 2 different reps.
The reg form for foreign webmaster will be up later today in the admin section.

Ibill did never send any info about the registration to me.
I had to e-mail them about 4 times when I finally got a merchant number and a password to access the form. Since I did this 1 day late I e-mailed them 3 times now but no answers.

NetBilling: You should have a service where you can send out checks to affiliates. Not an easy thing to do if you are a really small company. And you should have your own affiliate program that webmaster could use, not only thirdparty scripts.
You are charging a small percent and I guess you get it automaticly from the bank ?! Then it shouldn't be a problem having a full affiliate program service for webmasters.
I joining you very soon, just sent the ecommerce contract.
But I would mover all my shit over to you if you had a service like that.

The form to update your details has been up for a while, but I was told EU processing hasn't been completed at this point, though it might be by the end of today, which is cutting it fine for saving rebills.

Hi,

Hi,

You will get a great deal using affiliatetracking.net with Netbilling and they will cut and mail checks for you if you do not want to do it yourself.

Thank you, Mitch Farber
