I was just looking at a pie chart of where traffic was coming from for one of my sites and it seems like Google used to be a significant source of targeted traffic, but not so much now. The search terms Google does send people over on are bizarre and unrelated and there just is not that much of that sort of traffic. I've tried to remedy some of that with optimization on this particular site, but I'm wondering what % of traffic to a site should come from Google on average?

As much as humanly possible. The two best sources of traffic on the net are from Google and Yahoo natural listiings. Happy Thanksgiving!

That would be a valid response if the question was how many Google clicks is the good side of normal, but the question is percent of traffic.
