All of a sudden the rotate tool doesn't work anymore..

nevermind.. I didn't change this setting but somehow the rotational increment got changed to .00001 .. where it should be at 1 .. Just incase anyone else experiences this ![]() |

Well, not much info to work with but I'll throw a few suggestions.... First if your not using a licensed version that could be you problem right there. Been using it for years and I've rarely ever had a problem with 3dsMax. If you are using a legit release make sure your object is selected by hitting the "H" key and select your object from the menu. Then right click to select the right perspective window and give it a go. make sure a axis is lit. It that don't work see if the object is frozen from the display floater. You may want to try reloading the user interface option from Customize > Customize User Interface. Just a few things off the top of my head. If it's just fucked up pop in your CD and choose to repair the installation option. That would get you fixed up!
