Google has just about the best RSS feeds I've seen.
Unique titles per feed, short unique descriptions per feed... the content has pictures, separate links at the bottom, info about when it was posted (x mins ago)....
the only thing I'd recommend for them is line breaks, rather than have the feed all on one line. But that's a minor thing and parsers shouldn't have a problem with it (key word being shouldn't). Sponsors taking notes? Perhaps google could be a good source for inspiration when creating an RSS feed. |
