I know I saw a similar type of thread but it was more based on the seminars.
I had ALLOT of fun at my first show AND I managed to talk allot of great business with also putting allot of faces to names I talk with. I think exhibit-wise it would have been nice if there was a quicker way from the inside to the outside to keep things "continuous" (also so I had a fast exit to the sun when the floor closed ;p) but I know allot of people when we all get back talk about the parties & what not.... So my question really is, that do you guys feel you get allot of work/business done? Or just prefer to party and then if your lucky get any business done.. I mean Im new, so for me I got to meet allot of people.. but again, allot of you already know each other etc... So what yall think?? ![]()

I'm there mostly for the people and the parties, but I feel there's a lot of business value in that. I feel a lot better working with someone I can put a face to and have had a chance to talk in person versus over an extremely impersonal medium like ICQ
I know for a good friend of mine who was there, meeting the owners of a european-based payment processor he had signed up a few weeks ago face-to-face justified the cost of the trip alone |
