Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, al-Qaeda's leader in Iraq who led a bloody campaign of suicide bombings and kidnappings, has been killed in an air raid north of Baghdad. The death was seen as a major victory in the U.S.-led war in Iraq and the broader war on terror.

Damn, if they would only invent a way to bring these types of stories to the masses... perhaps even use the device to entertain people during the times people didn't want to hear about breaking events, local happenings and such. Al-Zarqawi is most likely dead but i think the reluctance of the naysayers thinking Al-Zarqawi is alive probably stems from the WMDs not being found

Al-Kalesi also claimed "His family in Jordan even held a ceremony after his death." He also claimed that "Zarqawi has been used as a ploy by the United States, as an excuse to continue the occupation. saying that it was a pretext so they don't leave Iraq." [26] On November 20, 2005, some news sources reported that Zarqawi may have been killed in a coalition assault on a house in Mosul; five of those in the house were killed in the assault while the other three died through using 'suicide belts' of explosives. United States and British soldiers are reported to be searching the remains [27], with U.S. forces using DNA samples to identify the dead.
