So I get hit up by the executive producer of Pimp My Ride for this years Players Ball. When I go to Tao in the Venetian to hand him the passes, I totally recognize him as the producer of that VH-1 piece they did on our Ball. He says it aired, but I never saw it.

So he tells me, 6 months after our Players Ball in 2003 with Xzibit, he created the Pimp My Ride concept and was looking for a garage and a host. He was in West Coast Customs checking out their work when he sees Xzibit getting his car worked on. Normally he'd have no idea who Xzibit is. So he decides to knock 2 birds out with one stone that day and asked Xzibit to host the show.

So in summary, if D$'s Players Ball didn't have Xzibit perform that year, the producer would have never known who he is, let alone ask hin to host the show.

I was thanked for that. I said, does Xzibit know that's how he got the gig? Can you let him know?

True story, I got a kick out of that.
