but looks like former presidents have used this in the past. There is no end in sight to the intrusion into our lives. Here is a Washington Post piece from 1994:

WASH POST, July 15, 1994: Extend not only to searches of the homes of U.S. citizens but also -- in the delicate words of a Justice Department official -- to "places where you wouldn't find or would be unlikely to find information involving a U.S. citizen... would allow the government to use classified electronic surveillance techniques, such as infrared sensors to observe people inside their homes, without a court order."

Deputy Attorney General Jamie S. Gorelick, the Clinton administration believes the president "has inherent authority to conduct warrantless searches for foreign intelligence purposes."

Secret searches and wiretaps of Aldrich Ames's office and home in June and October 1993, both without a federal warrant.

I am sure if I looked back all have had this and used this shit.

I am not a fan of either party, pretty much Libertarian myself. This is crazy, so if Clinton did it, Bush did it, I am sure if goes back in history, they have all done it.

its wrong either way, but people blaming bush might think removing him from office will solve the problem which it wont.

Throw enough scandals at King Bush and one of them is going to stick. Since the CIA thing, war under illegal pretences, Halliberton, Saudi's getting out of the country after 9-11, the 7 minutes stupidfest, Michael Moore's movie, and countless others expose's...

Eventually they will find a way to overthrow King Bush.

I do not think it's the scandals that infuriate everyone as much as the way he is so arrogant about it when caught up in them. Everytime something new comes up, he stolls out with his 6-shooters and says something to the efffect, I'm the King. Look at my new clothes.
