I waited 3 months for a very well known designer to do a movie archive design for me and I really didn?t like the direction things were going so we both decided it would be best to kill the project.

I couldn?t help but feel the work was being outsourced because the quality was not comparable to his past work.

I don't have any more time to waste and need a VERY professional design done.

If he was outsourcing the work, why would he have you wait three months?

Also, your correlation between "poor quality work" and outsourcing is not accurate. You only hear of the failures. For every failure there are 99 successes.

Sometimes its hard to "match wits" with your designer to convey your vison.

Don't give up, you will find someone.
