I live in a small town and bank at a small town bank. My clerks are great! They'll even look up your account number for you if you forget it and need to write a counter check

my bank Clerks are great .. always remember my wife and I and help us with whatever we need ...
 maybe it has to do with how much money you have with them ... I have a second bank that i only keep a few K in for spending cash on the check card ... they hardly know me

So far, all bank transactions I did were faciliatated by polite and attentive bank clerks. I haven't encountered those snotty ones yet.

I'm in a very small town, and my bank has great customer service.
I am a huge fan of online banking and bill pay though. I hardly ever actually go in the bank anymore. I drop checks off at the night deposit, and do 98% of the other stuff online.

I dislike it when they address you by your first name after reading it on your bank book - as if they know you personally. Gone are the days of commonrespect when they use "mister", "miss" or "missus".

never had a problem with ank clerks, sometimes the new ones aren't sure if they can deposit my biz cheques but then they get approval, not really a hassle in my opinion.

i love my bank, they know me and they are always helpful, i have had my account for over 6 years with them, never put a hold on checks, which is awesome.
