Registering onto a site

Just had some one try to get onto our site without wanting to give me any info of who he is.

Fine if he wants to stay invisible, I have the same choice.

We content providers have a major problem with people stealing sets. Buying them for their own paysites and then giving them out to every tgp or feeder site they can.

He is very welcome to buy from people with less scruples of who they sell to. In the end it's in his interest, if he's genuine, to help us.

And to the person I REFUSED, if I need a lesson in business it's definately not from you. If you are so happy with who you buy from why are you looking around.

It is me, mr. invisible...

I didn't want to give my info because i knew he was going to spam me with promo mail, which he admitted that he would when i asked him.

LOL ! ! !

Now i know why it is better to deal with Shaw, Matrix, Ounique, AaronM, Xamo, etc. hehe

Usualy when you contact the person running the show directly, you can get away with not registering and getting spammed hehe

I checked you on GFY while we were talking.
What it does not say is webmaster of paysite.

If you were so happy with those others why look at ours. And start by telling us we have great pics. Then keep coming back to me when I said no info no entry.

Telling clients about what is new is not SPAM unless you do not want to know. If you do not like what we do after you have seen it, all you do is cancel.

Well charly...
I am happy with other peoples content, however i look around all the time for new and unique stuff. What? I can't window shop?
It seems like you do have nice pics, but bad business ethics, i probably could give you a few tips if you need it.

Brujah is right, registering for sites is a waste of time. I don't go and register at a clothing store to look at the clothes

I think anyone with a brain could put their signature on the sample pictures, and shrink them down like Ounique does, thus for avoiding people stealing the pics as they would be worthless.

But whatever...It's cool, sorry it didn't work out.

Hell yeh registering sucks,

I think I must had like 20 diff registrations on Brujahs site back a while ago...

1) I'd forget passwords
2) I'd get spam so I don't like it
3) I understand it cuz I'll do it to and spam your asses....

So, go wack off, drink some coffee and figure out if what you're looking for is worth hitting the delte button a few times a day.

Hehe ;)

I'll put in my 2 cents.

Firstly content providers should keep all their wares behind
a password area. Content sales are a business-to-business
transaction and the general public should not be seeing what
the wholesalers are selling and for how much. In the real
world, you can not get into a wholesale buyers market unless
you are in the industry. This benefits the buyer as much as
the seller.

At the minimum you shouild give your domain and email for
browsing. When you are ready to purchase, then you should be
willing to give the rest of your details like name and address.

As far as email, there should be an opt-in checkbox that says
if you want email announcements or not. The content provider
should honor the opt-ion box.

The problem is there are a million content providers and having to
register at each one sucks. Maybe that thing at content spotlight
will solve this problem, buit right now they don't have enough providers
signed up.

"registering for sites is a waste of time"

some sites have their databases set up so when they send out opt-in email, they include the member's password and user name in the message. i don't mind getting emails from content providers or resource sites i sign up with, sometimes they are helpful. i do agree that the password thing is hard to keep up with.

I screen webmasters, too. Partly because I have adult material and I want to make sure the people I admit are not 13 years old, and partly just to make sure they are not surfers. I am a business-to-business operation and there is no reason why a surfer should get in to look around even at sets with "sample" stamped on them.

I'm amazed at how many "webmasters" can't provide me with a webmaster@ e-mail address, and actually try to convince me they are serious webmasters even though they have Hotmail, Yahoo, or even AOL e-mail addresses. Now, who can take seriously a webmaster whose e-mail address ends with aol.com?

So, then I tell them I'll send them a password via the e-mail in their WHOIS, whereupon they reply that the info in their WHOIS is bogus "because I don't want to get spammed." No matter that they are probably committing fraud across state lines, thus making them criminals under Federal law. Shoot, if their aol.com e-mail address had been their in their domain contact info, I'd use it, but if they can't even supply real information when they sign up for a domain (a) do they really even own the domain? and (b) to what extent can I trust any information they give me?

My list is a totally opt-in list. I don't know why more don't opt in: they could save 20% off new content offerings if they did. I find it hard to believe people don't give good information even when purchasing content. To whom is it licensed, then? Just paying for it doesn't give one a license. Agreeing to the terms of the license AND paying for it gives you the license to use is.

Yes you have found the same as me, these guys tell us run multi million $$$ sites all from @yahoo free mail addresses. Send a registration to the email address on their WHOIS and it's also freemail and bounces back undelivered.
He gave it away by saying he saw me on GFY, this board has a lot of kids and surfers on it, just look at some of the posts.
Might put the password in with the info email, good idea (that's what these boards are for)
Cameraman, yes you are right and I did not think about it we are wholesalers. Maybe payrollpetes angle shows he's a consumer (surfer) Signed up on the Content spotlight thing, (Danny is king) but nothing much yet. These posts and the articles I write do better.

Payrollpete.
Shut me up and make me look like an idot and you the winner, give us the URL of your mega paysite.
Maybe one of your many suppliers will tell me what an fool I've been.

For all you guys who forget passwords, usually the password is referred to in an e-mail, in which case all you need to do is save the e-mail in a "Passwords" folder, where you can find it again quickly when you need it. A solution so simple, you'd think any idiot could think of it. Oh, yeah, I forgot: You're too busy to do that.

I feel content should be behind a password in part to protect the models. I know of a case where a model, who had been exercising her right to a modicum of privacy by not telling her family how she'd been earning extra income. Some high school "friends" surfed into this content provider's site and sent her parents a direct link to the page where her nasty pics were on display. Now, I can't much control what is done with my pics after I sell them, and I feel many models (in denial) underestimate the chance their families will catch on. However, I don't be the one to let the cat out of the bag.

Well, I checked your profile and, as I suspected, I didn't see anything there that removed all doubt about you being an adult OR a webmaster. Everything there is simply alleged and not proven. I have on occasion gone back and forth up to five times with people until I have become convinced that they couldn't be quite THAT anonymous and devoid of verifiable information if they were for real adults in the industry.

Part of any business relationship is being forthcoming and understanding the needs and precautions the other party must take to protect himself and his wares.

So I did it again, but still cannot change the policy. We get hit probably a bit more than most content providers because of the name. A lot come from search engines putting in Paul Markham. But the name has bought clients. So it stays.
Where to draw the line, if you were on the recieving end of the ICQ chat we got maybe you would have let him in maybe not.
Spam, dont do it. Those that register get weekly updates of what's new on the site and a couple of emails about "How can we help you more" questionaires.
If anyone does not want to know what is new then fine tell us and they come off the list.
Alternatively they have to go to the site every couple of days in the hope of seeing something new and appropriate.
Go to the site knowing there is something you want, press delete key or go to site twice week in the hope there is something there. Which one suits you the best?
But this is an interesting subject.

HOW MANY CONTENT PROVIDERS HAVE AN "OPEN DOOR" POLICY?

Let us all know.

Of course it's silly, fueding.
Now that I know you're a "player" and not a surfer.
Believe me I get so many people try to get into the site with info that is purely fictional.

Register.
If you do not want to emailed with updates, email me and I will delete you.
