Bought "American Psycho," The Director's cut.

Wow, I had never seen that movie.

Have to say I thought it was a classic film.

That movie kicks ass. I own the first dvd, but I'm gonna go buy the new release.

It is definitely an underrated flick but will still be a classic.

Ever seen Very Bad Things? Another awesome movie that rarely gets recognition.

One of the great movie endings..."You're so cool."

Bought it on amazon 2 weeks ago for 9 bucks. I watched it this weeekend also and wow it was awesome. I don't notice the extra scenes though so I have to watch the special features with commentary to find out where they actually were

The book is extremely good and the gore scenes are beyond horrible but necessary.

I had not thought much about the book until the movie. I may have to check it out now.

Go read the book now. You will have a very different perspective about the movie.

Ok, are you talking about the Attorney's statement at the end?

That threw me for a loop to be honest...what happened?

Bateman tries to confess at one point, and consistently puts himself at risk of discovery. But this is only half a commentary on his character. The other half is a commentary on his society that essentially ignores everything but the self. They wouldn't believe it even if he is a killer.

Yeah the attorney's statements.

EDIT. Shit or maybe the attorney had said that because he was the one that had covered for him saying he saw him in paris.
Damn such a great ending

Apparently I'm missing something. I thought that was the worst movie I'd ever seen.

I did like Very Bad Things, however.

Christian Bale is the shit.

When you have some free time read the book. Ellis is a wonderful awful author, and truly fucked up in the head

When it first started, I felt that was going to happen...but then I noticed how amazing the cinemetography and acting was and saw what the screenplay was doing.

I rank it high in flims all time.

You should see it again.

No doubt. The movie was tame compared to the book.
I still shudder when I think about the starved rat incident.

I've been meaning to read that book for a while now and always end up ordering something else from my Amazon wish list.

Patrick Bateman is one of my heros. The ability to derive an almost equal amount of pleasure from analyzing huey lewis & genesis and splitting people open with an axe is a true evolutionary achievement.
