Type R is basically an SI with a few upgrades as far as I can tell. Either way, Civics are great cars. get one Fast little fuckers. Great handling ( a bit too responsive in the steering but you get used to it) and great gas mileage.

Even my DX can kick up some dirt. 115 HP and the fucker gives ya whiplass if ya slam that throttle. The SI 165 HP would be that much more fun

The type R has driving system then the SI, and also it has 200HP..

This has a lot of Civic components, but a nicer package than the Honda version:

2005 Acura RSX Type-S

210 HP engine and superb handling. I have one myself.

I have a 1999 EX and I wouldn't trade it in for the world. You can't go wrong with this car, any model or year.

I have a 2004 one and I just love it.
Drove the Boxster the Z350 and the RX8 before I got it, and it is the better one

Wow sounds impressive

Especially since the Z350 is priced 20K euro more (civic 30K euro here(36K USD))

The Z350 is just a bit better, but the extra 2 seats in the Typer-R make it a much better car.
I was going for the Focus RS at the time, but they wanted me to wait 4 months, so the second choice was the type-R.

The R32 is an amazing car as well, will go faster then the type-R, will cost more, and it is German.

But if you had a Suzuki R750 you would have known that the Type-R is better then the R32

I actually HAD a GSXR750. Traded that in for another Honda R, the RC51.

As for cars, I drive and Accord and own 3 VW project cars. I'm not hating on Honda, just prefer the VW...mmmmmm, all wheel drive.

NOW I'm out the door...

LOL

I had the GSXR750 as well, that is way I prefer a car that has no Turbo in it, it just feel better

And the all wheel drive just make life easier, I don't like it that way

Acura is US only. Everywhere else it's Honda. Just like:

Infinity = Nissan

Lexus = Toyota

US name, Japanese car. Done this way to sell for higher prices. Honestly,
who would pay 36k for a honda, toyota, or nissan (other than the Skyline).

A civic Type R is 32.000 EURO here...Which is around 38.000 US dollars

But I like japanese cars. Most of them are better then the US cars....

It's a sports car without the sport. 200hp is nothing nowadays, I have 240 and it's painfully slow, I've driven some fast cars though.

CTR is nice as a daily driver, but if you're going to mod it, I'd rather go with a DX. It's lighter and you're going to end up replacing all the CTR stuff anyway -- I mean that is, if you wanna go fast.
