Whatever happened to those 2257 documentation services?

where you pay them a monthly fee and they hold your records for you?
or other 2257 services.

Wrong.

They failed because they were not legal, not because nobody bothered.

Its legal to sell software to organize and cross reference your 2257's for the proposed rules - its just not legal to offer to keep the records for you (which no one is doing).

Its a pretty trivial couple hundred lines of code to cross reference and organize your files. You can also use a spreadsheet if you are really cheap. If somebody wrote a nice php server based package for about $250, I would buy it; but I am not going to pay panic prices for something I can create in a day myself.

we had an opportunity to affect the regulations that were going to be put on us..no one even tried.

it isnt illegal..just not the way they want it done

we have to make them understand somehow, and be open to a regulatory schedule which helps everyone
