How do I use 2nd IP ? eth1 ?

I have a laptop setup and working with wireless pc card. Trying to ftp, it says No route to host. I did a traceroute to try and see why, it looks like it's trying to use the ip # assigned to eth0 ( the net card, that isn't hooked up ) instead of eth1 ( the pc card, wireless that is live ).

How can I get it working correctly to use the eth1 ?

Either disable the one you dont use.. or set the wireless card to your default connection in the network connections control panel.

make sure the gateway for the first card is deleted/disabled and the gw for the 2nd card is marked as default.

update: Looks like ftp works fine outside the local network. It's inside the local network that I'm having trouble with it finding a route.
