Whats the best way to do a members area?

Whats the best way to do a members area that has some downloadable clips and some feeds, and some downloadable image galleries. all of that.

should you just put it all on page 1 right there and just make a long page, or cut it up into sections?

what do members like best?

A very nice CMS system that is both easy for the members to use and the admin to keep everything running smoothly.

give them multiple links on the first page. it keeps everything divided nicely into proper categories. it also makes it look like you have more than if you just put it on one page.

As in will it have one members area, or a whole slew of small independant members areas.

As far as costs go, you can literally get a top of the line one in the 500 range.

500 range for what I use. Some are less some are more.
The one I use is single site only, though they do have multi-site versions. Some other ones I have seen out there appear to allow multi site ability but they did not measure up to what I currently use in my opinion at least.
