Online Dating websites shown on Mainstream TV show The View

This morning the TV show The View ran a segment on a girl anf followed her and tracked her expereinces using a few of the mainstream online dating services. They had her date guys from Yahoo personals, Match and american singles. This is great for the industry and can only help the adult segment as well. The more people they get to go online and feel comfortable with the idea means more people that are potential customers for adult as well.

I would be interested to hear how many new signups these mainstream companies get from the TV spot.

those big sites on TV wouldnt make much of a difference for them. An adult site or non well known nationally site would see much bigger jump in traffic
