Any of these good for shooting indoors, small-medium sized room, with a still and video camera?

Im looking for similar kits only here in Holland the same thing will cost you 1200 euros (like 1600 dollars)

It pisses me off to see them that cheap but not being able to buy them.

It even cheaper for me to buy a ticket to the US, pick it up and take it back to Holland.

I would go for the number 2 kit for photo and the number 3 for video - eventually, you can purchase 2 softboxes and 2 500W halogen lamps for video, as it require a lot of light if you want a good picture

I'm serious here:

If you know anything about flash photography for pics, 150w/sec and 120w/sec (if you read the details) is NOTHING!!!! That like a regular hotshoe flash power. I would never buy anything less than 250w/sec for pics, preferably 500w/sec. So 1 & 2 NOOOOO!!

3 looks like GREAT for video. Those are awesome lights and good soft boxes. Make sure you are getting 4 1000w light tubes and not 2 total. Also, with 2000 watts through a box and within 8 feet, you could use them for pics too. You'd probably get a reading of F5.6 at 125th of a sec at asa 400. That's not bad for hot lights. But for DIGITAL pics ONLY. Digital can be balanced for this light. FILM cannot be properly (filters work, but not verey well.)

Opps, ok.. looks like you get 2 500W tubes for 1000W total PER LIGHT and a total of 2000W with BOTH light. Ok, so that would be F4 @ 125th @ asa 400 @ 8ft. F5.6 @ 6ft, roughly.

Its better to start with a single professional quality flash, than with a bunch of weak units that will fail right in the moment when you really need them.

I've owned Britek equipment before. They blow fuses constantly and the built in slave units are not very reliable.

I've got 2 fully fuctional strobes, softboxes, and stands collecting dust in my garage right now because no local supply store can eaisly get me replacement fuses and I refuse to use equipment that could fuck up and stop my shoots.

On a positve note....They did serve their purpose back in the day.

Yes, I have heard of them being extremely unreliable and that could cost you more than they save you.
