webcam broadcasts from bar - GoFuckYourself.com

I talked to the owner of the bar I went to last night (in between fuckin' with his brother-in-law's girlfriend, the one that keeps rubbing up on me) about putting up cameras in his place and do Internet broadcasts from his bar, also could be useful for security.

He can get DSL pretty cheap, I can get him a website setup.

Anybody have any suggestions for cam software and hardware? I would probably put cameras high up in the ceiling, and on the second floor, so if I'm running them all back to one PC, it would have to be long cables or wireless.

Chillcam and webcam32, x-10 wireless cams and it will take more than one computer to run more than 2 cams with any sort of efficiency.

thats the setup I use.
webcam32 just whent bankrupt, but a freind of mine is looking into buying out their debts, so hang in there on their product.

Don't use webcams, buy real cams and take advantage of their capabilities. you can have 2 modes, one where each cam is available for selection (most popular, more hardware required) or use a mixer ala TV style and mix the final feed (less popular, cheaper, less hardware)

and get a T1 at least.
