Why Do Some Quick Time Files Stream Faster Than Others?
i watched 2 Quick Time files which are the same size AND on the same server
one played/streamed almost automatically and the other took about a min. to load WTF?

There are a couple kinds of QT files.
1. Streaming - Must run from a QTSS. Should start up right away. 2. Progressive Download - Can be hosted on a http server. Will start to play, once the player thinks it can play the clip straight through, without tanking. I am guessing that either you are looking at a streaming file vs. a prog. download., or the files are both progressive download, and that you are experiencing network congestion, either in the last mile or at the server location.
