The so-called "warm" color range is yellow-red or any colors with yellow or red in them (so it goes from the greens on through the various shades of purple).

I'm not sure if that is what you meant by "warm," but that is what you would be taught in an art class.

Yellow-red somewhat refers to the warmth of fire possibly? Heh.. I don't think I've seen any yellow-red websites before, and there's probably a reason for that.
