I keep hearing this, over and over, and it makes absolutely no sense to me.

Kerry was in Nam 4.5 months.

Yet, he claims "two tours."

well I'm guessing, but 1 tour = 3 months, was on his second tour, and when he got his 3rd purple heart that's a ticket home.

Yes, he went. So did I. Had JohnnyBoy gone Infantry, instead of dingys, he wouldn't have had anyone covering him, with all those purple hearts in such a short period.

Nope. He'd been labled "Bad Luck" to be near.

I DO know that no "grunt" would ever walk around, in the bush, holding his 16 by the grip, barrel down. THAT, to us, stood out like a sore thumb. He was just an asshole before that pix was introduced. Then he got the "BS" label.

I think Kerry knew that if he stayed over there much longer his own guys were gonna frag his ass, so he got the fuck out of Dodge.
