WORLD IS LIKE MONEY IN THE BANK!!

Compare the planet's resources to a large sum of money which pays interest. If you live on the interest alone, the capital stays intact, and you can live well indefinatly. This interest is our available enviromental space. On the other hand, if you use even a small part of the capital each year as well as the interest, the end will come surprisingly fast. After all, because of the decrease in capital, the annual interest will also decrease at an increasing rate. One will therefor eat faster and faster into capital. This is a foolish, fucking way world is, oops sorry, we are living now.

For many years, world has been dominated by a central economic and cultural principal: "more is always better". This core tenet has largely defined our economic system, household behaviour and mass culture. Yet, in recent years, many people have began to question and challenge this fundamental aspect of world's life. Faced with dramatic gulf between thoose who have and thoose who have not, an enviroment increasingly degraded by urban sprawl and waste, ans a civic society charecterized more by consuming then by caring, many individuals are asking "How much is enough?". Consumerism is not inherently bad, but when it reaches excessive levels and becomes our primary preoccupation as a people, it damages our moral, social and enviromental fabric. This world needs to believe that it's enough now, enough!
