Small Tech Issue. This one's easy I know it but I cant figure it out.. HELP!

HEy GFY!!

MY tech guy is not in yet I decided to get a early start this mornin. When I went to turn on my lap top everthing worked ok till i tried to use msn explorer. any and all pages come up blank.

MY instant messaging programs worked and bear share you can download songs but I get page not found when I type in any url.

I pinged google and it worked fine.

What is wrong? Can you please offer some suggestions Im falling behind i would love some tips.
