I used to use OS commerce carts, until I enountered it too many times as a surfer.

Now if faced with ordering through it, more often than not I will go elsewhere.

Ah, the oscommerce header trick.

I don't even know if there's a legit way to do it, I did it by just hacking out code until it loaded nicely

I did have a template hack that worked real well.

Until I ran into some bugs.

Switch over to Zen cart . It's a modded oscommerce, but much easier to use and customize. You can even import your oscommerce DB.

I've heard good things about this project but haven't tried it yet...

I think I'm going to give it a go on my latest site instead of oscommerce.
