I just bought another (cheap) monitor and I had to pause.... At what point do you have too many monitors?

My main PC has four monitors. My backup PC has two monitors. Now I will have two monitors hooked up to my laptop. That's eight monitors.

They aren't huge monitors; just cheap 24 inch dell monitors. But I think I have an odd obsession with monitors at this point.

It is absolutely necessary? No, of course not. It makes my life a bit easier. I don't need to pull up a special window for skype or email to check email because they are always up on various screens. It's a nice way to work.
