The House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees announced Tuesday that Mueller had agreed to testify after they issued subpoenas for his testimony, and Mueller would appear in public before the two panels next month.

"Americans have demanded to hear directly from the Special Counsel so they can understand what he and his team examined, uncovered, and determined about Russia's attack on our democracy, the Trump campaign's acceptance and use of that help, and President Trump and his associates' obstruction of the investigation into that attack," House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler and House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff said in a joint statement.

Mueller's testimony is poised to be the most-anticipated congressional hearing in years, and represents a huge moment for House Democrats who have wrestled with whether to dive into a politically divisive impeachment process following the Mueller investigation and White House stonewalling of congressional probes.

Trump responded to the news on Twitter Tuesday with a familiar two-word refrain: "Presidential Harassment!"

In other news we found out that Barr lied directly to Congress. He stated that he didn't interfere with any of Muller's investigations. Turns out he directly killed 7 investigations 10 days after he released his "summary". Meaning he directly lied to congress which is a crime..

This is the big one because Muller considered those matters needed further investigating, yet Barr blocked them all, as they are desperately blocking anyone from testifying.

Mueller, despite all the evidence he cited, couldn't decide if Trump was guilty of obstruction and toss the ball to Congress knowing Congress would not impeach Trump.

Mueller refused to charge Trump Jr. with collusion because he said Trump jr. Didn't know that what he was doing was illegal. I was raised being told ignorance of the law is no defense but Mueller let Trump Jr off the hook.

Mueller is also a longtime friends with attorney general William Barr.

Mueller let this country down when he let the Trumps off the hook despite all the evidence he cited. Mueller protected his fellow Republicans.

Mueller already said there was no collusion. The only thing he wouldn't clear him on was obstruction. And not clearing someone doesn't mean they are guilty - it means there is not enough evidence to warrant a charge.

Lots of people get investigated by the FBI. And many of those people don't have any charges brought against them because there wasn't enough evidence. Doesn't mean they are guilty.

If the Dems get him to say some bad things about Trump, however, it could be fodder they use during the election.
