What is the best software to create MySQL databases?

I know about this http://www.mysql.com/products/mysqlcc/index.html

Is there any better software than that?

Toad is the best database interface. It's great for managing all kinds of stuff like stored procs... oh wait... triggers... damn... um... foreign keys... shit.

You know what? For MYSQL, the command line should be easy enough. But if you ever need to use a eral database, Toad rocks.

If you have a half-decent admin, you should be able to write your data into any database program you like (dbase, MS access, lotus, even Excel) and just save it as comma seperated values.. Then they can be pretty easily imported into MySQL. That's what I do!

Actually I'm an idiot, what are you trying to do? Why not just build it into a password protected website? You can build a form that just writes into the SQL database live any time you want to make an entry. That's how my site works if you want to check my signature.. We don't do much manual coding for it anymore at all, only if we want to change the way it looks or add features. We just fill out a web form, click save, and it's updated live.

Sounds like that could be kinda messy.

Why not just use http://ems-hitech.com/mymanager/ ?

Ooops, yeah. My fault. I've used it for so long, I thought it'd plug into any DB. Speaking of which, I'd better look into how much a copy of Oracle is gonna run...
