Yes Bassist And Co-Founder Chris Squire Died
Chris Squire, bassist and co-founder of the progressive rock band Yes, dies at 67 due to complications from leukemia.
So sad!! He was one of the greatest bassists in rock. I would put him on the Mount Rushmore of Bassists, along with John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin, John Entwhistle of The Who and Paul McCartney (yes, because he's a Beatle and also an incredible bass player). R.I.P. Chris Squire. And STILL Yes is not in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame? WTF??

Apparently he was faced with death, and when asked if he wanted to LIVE? He said Yes... but was promptly told No.
RIP. 67 is a hell of a long time to live with that sort of ailment.  |

Saw Yes on the 90125 tour in '84 (CNE stadium, Toronto).
