I have about 100 html pages that i need to change a url in. is there an easy way to do this? swapping out one url for another without having to load page by page in a program?

Most text editors have search and replace feature. You load all of the files, run the search and replace.

Of course there are also ways to do this from a prompt, which I'm guessing you don't know how to do. So try the first route. Check out Brackets.

Dreamweaver does this, there is also a plugin for WP if its a WP site (https://wordpress.org/plugins/search...nd+and+replace) and most plain text editors will also have this feature.
