Do you tell a close friend?
That Top Gear has selected his car, as the worst car ever built?
A few years ago, he called me about getting a sportscar. I did my best to steer him towards a Porsche, but being a tightwad he ended up buying a used Lexus SC430. I don't think he watches Top Gear, should I email him the link to the show?

Maybe lexus didn't buy any advertising from top gear or affiliated companies last year.

I think it is not only your duty to point it out, but also to remind him that you tried to steer him away from it.
I will admit that I don't know much about modern sports cars, but I always thought of the Lexus, even the SC430, as more of a luxury car and not a sports car. |

I don't pay too much attention to such lists. You buy want you want to buy, and anyone who buys on brand over another because of some list is a fucking idiot.
Jeep ranks in the bottom of quality in most such lists, yet six months in I've never had a problem. If it does, big deal - take it and get it fixed.
