Hello fris,
There are two stand-alone comment scripts that I am aware of, GentleSource Comment Script and PHPjabbers Post Comment Script, maybe you are looking for one or the other. I do not have first hand experience with GentleSource Comment Script, however, I have used PHPjabbers Post Comment Script and it is easy to use, implement as well as customize. It is also easy to add topics for commenting. The only downside is it does not have a bulk add feature. As such, adding multiple topics for commenting could be a tedious task. The upside though is you can ask them to customize the script for you.
