Hello everyone,

I'd like to take a moment to introduce Mentel. We're a Canadian based Ruby on Rails shop with a unique offering. We specialize in leasing out our Canadian educated, in-house engineers for short term engagements. Although RoR is currently our preferred option, our team is versed in multiple technologies such as jQuery/Backbone, PHP, with an emphasis on quality versus quantity, and we have the expertise, portfolio and references to back that assertion up.

We do open-ended engagements with a 5 day unconditional opt-out for the first 4 weeks. Beyond that, the opt-extends to 10 days. Our clients love this because it lessens their exposure, and we do it because we believe so strongly in our engineering team's competency. At the end of the day we offer such a low risk solution because once we're given the chance to impress clients with the caliber of our code, they always come back for more.
