Some CCBill questions, about rebills...
In the affiliate side on the view program details, theres a section for:
Recurring Subscriptions: Payments for Rebills End After: (Zero) rebills Does that mean the site doesn't pay for rebills? Some sponsors have that set at unlimited. Some at 9999,some at 365. Some sponsors are saying they have a 50/50 revshare program, but have this set at zero, so is it by accident or is that purposeful deceit? How can you revenue share without paying for rebills? They should change their signup pages to say one time payout. Anyone else ever check those because i had promoted several that i noticed to have the zero rebills thing after the fact. Thoughts?

I don't know, but since noone more knowledgeable replied, I'll hazard a guess. Often, in a database or software where you have a numeric limit, zero is used to represent "unlimited". Zero may in fact mean unlimited rebills, but the system stores a number there, so it can't accept a word such as "unlimited".
That's just a guess, a possibility, since no one replied with a knowledgeable answer

Its been so long I can't remember for ccbill. I thought they displayed the text "unlimited".
My current merchant account, which only I see shows 0 with description 0 means unlimited. I have a suspicion if you are an affiliate that means 0 rebills. |

What i suspect also but it not that there are not any rebills with certain programs that bother me its that they advertise 50/50 revshare or something similar. Can this be control on a per affiliate basis? For example a little while ago there was a thread here talking about a program that had great sales and rebills, but when i look at this program in the back end it says (zero)...

Don't quote me, but if I remember correctly, if it is setup as a % and has 0 it means all rebills.
For some reason I have that stuck in my head but am not 100% sure. It's been awhile since i've been in the program setup side of CCBILL. |

I was gonna go and have a look at the programs I'm with, knowing a specific one that has no rebills, but after 5 minutes fucking around with their wanky system gave up. Christ, what was the criteria for the new look - make it as awkward as fucking possible to see a list of your programs?

Lots of bad information here. It should read "Payments for Rebills End After: (Unlimited) rebills". If it reads zero there is a good chance you will NOT get credit for rebills!
Now there was supposedly a bug many years ago which resulted in some programs showing this incorrectly when it was first changed but we are talking 2006 or 2007. You should contact CCBill and the program owner for confirmation of any site which reads "Payments for Rebills End After: (Zero) rebills". You should also consider disclosing it here so others can check their own settings. |

"Payments for Rebills End After: (Unlimited) rebills", is certainly one for unlimited rebills.
Zero means you don't get credit for rebills. |

I have: Payments for Rebills End After: (Unlimited) rebills
On 3 I know rebill. Could be a database error though and 0 means unlimited. But isn't displaying proper, or the sponsor you are mentioning is a piece of shit. |

Just found 1 which has this: Payments for Rebills End After: (Zero) rebills
Probably a 1 time join, or a shit company. Or perhaps BOTH! |

![]() Being honest, I had my panties in a wad, from something else that was posted on another forum, so sorry if I sounded 'In Your Face' so to speak... I simply do remember this exact same thread though - From a few years ago, and it got really heated - Then ccBill came in, and said what I remember... But hey... I could well be wrong... This is the exact reason why I am 100% self Sufficient these days, and dont rely on any sponsors at all.. Peace ![]() |

It sort of is, but isn't, although I've now found it, I have to go to "View today's transactions", whereas I'd expect it to be a link in that dashboard (where I currently see a news feed). Once you know, it's easy, but navigation sucks cock upon initial login.
Anyway just to check what the program that gives no rebills displays... oh fucking hell lol, I click on Tools and get an error An error has occurred. Sorry for the inconvenience. https%3A%2F%2Fwebadmin.ccbill.com%2Faffiliateadmin %2Freports%2Ftransactions.cgi%3FstartDate%3D201110 28000000%26endDate%3D20111028235959%26apply%3Dlook up Logout, login, same error ![]() Life.
