Maybe if America stopped bombing the shit out of every country with oil or gas this wouldnt be happening and instead headlines would read more positivily.

Afghanistan doesn't have any oil. Not that I disagree with your statement. Nevertheless, we shouldn't be sending a dime, or troops to countries who are clearly enemies.

I read about this proposed pipeline ages ago. Probably more than a decade. Thanks for the link, I forgot all about it. It could certainly be a reason we're there, if OSB and the Taliban didn't want to allow the pipeline, well then they had to go.

I guess we need to keep sending aid and troops, we must protect the interests of big oil.

You do know that Jews and Muslims have lived side by side in that area for centuries and all was fine. Then along came zionists and bombed the crap out of them, stole their land that they owned and claimed they were doing it because god had given them that land?

How did they bring it on themselves? All they did was own land in an area which they had called home for a very long time.

The United States and Israel attempted direct talks.. Then.. Hamas (total militants) added in their two cents stating all talks were "fruitless negotiations" and that they do not recognize Israel as a legitimate state ...

Good luck returning to the UN negotiation table with that type of negative behavior ...
