Holy Shit, anyone else see Hopkins at 46 clean that kids clock?
I haven't seen a good matchup in years, all but gave up on boxing since Tyson in the 80's, but what a fucking match between Hopkins & Pascal, Hopkins fought like a 20 year old exploding on Pascal the whole time, none of the George Foreman shit where he sits there plays it safe till the last round.
Oldest boxer to win a title! What a fucking match. Glad I just happen to watch boxing for the first time in years today. ![]()

I'm a huge fight fan and watch every match even when I know I'll be disappointed. Hopkins won the first match pretty clearly in my eyes and I was optimistic he'd win tonight. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised by how aggressive he was and how impressively he won the fight. The ref was a joke though and had me a little worried.

Hopkins is a beast.
Hopefully now he'll start getting the recognition he deserves. |

That was the first Hopkins fight I've ever enjoyed and man, I wished he would have fought like that in his prime - tho he looked damned good in his final years of fighting.
He's lost some speed on his punches and reflexes (tho not power) and to compensate he's FINALLY got to actually mix it up. Great bout! |

yeah, he should have had the two knock downs, but might have not fought as hard if he was given them.
