Hard Drive Recovery Places?

Hard Drive has the "Clicks" LOL
I am sure it will need to be sent to a clean room place to be taken apart.

Trying to find some places, to see if the amount of $$$ is worth it.

if the hard drive will still boot, try to copy as much off of it as possible before the click AND the drive stop.

Ontrack is the only one I have used. Beyond that I have done my own just by switching electronics with a matching drive.

If it's just the circuit board (sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't) and you're fairly handy you could probably fix it yourself.

I have used http://datarecovery.org/ they were able to recover 99% of information on clicking drive, same as you have described. Best thing about them, you don't pay if they cannot recover. Cost about $2000 though.

Hope it works out

I have to find 2 PCBs for 2 of my dead hard drives to see if it makes them work again so I can recover the data from them.
