Correct Amount Of Photos In FHG's?

Depends on what they will be used for. But usually the standard is 15 to 16 photos and 3 videos. Make the videos about 30 to 45 seconds max.

That's what I'm a bit confused about. It seems most I've looked at have 15, but on occasion some have 16. I didn't know if it was just for looks: 3 rows of 5 thumbs, or 4 rows of 4 thumbs because of choice of thumb image size? Are there some places that insist on tgp's having 16 images minimum?

but, more important than number is the selection and their position on the page
and the size of the pictures (keep them under 200 - 250 kb)
I saw some sponsors with 2mb pictures in FHG's and unless its some kind of HD site it's pretty useless, wastes visitors time and your bandwidth...

make 16 for your thumb although 12 is the minimum but most of the TGP's require 16 now.

Ive seen galleries ranging from 12 - 20 with the norm falling at 15 usually and usually 3 videos but Ive seen FHG's with 2 - 4 videos. I guess its up to you really. What do you want to give your affiliates. My Advice is 15 and 3 as many use the FHG content for their own galleries to promote the site.

I guess I wanted to make sure about any places like TGP's that have to have a minimum of say 15 or is it 16 photos, that what I was wondering? Thanks for the comments.
