Grimaldi's is very good. No Question. Went the other day, line was to long. Totonos is better in my opinions. To bad it burned down about 6 months ago.

John's Pizza is good...but my fav in Manhattan is Ben's Pizzeria for a plain slice.

It has become a hobby of mine tasting Pizza accross the boros and suburbs of NYC. Unfortunatley many Italians now want to run fancy restaurants these days instead of spending 12 hours a day in a pizza kitchen. I am finding it more difficult to find great pizza these days...and I feel it is due to other nationalities just trying to make a quick buck in this business. Just because you worked in pizza joint does not mean your going to make great pizza. You need to love it.
