Is shared hostgator hosting ideal for a TGP?

    Upgrade to a dedicated with them. I had one with them before. It's your box. You can do whatever with it. 2500 uniques is nothing for a dedi.

        If you have 777 directory on hostgator you will eventually get a 500 server error. It may work temporarily, but this will be result. The closest thing u can use instead of 777 on hostgator is 755. This worked for my YaBB forum and Album.Pl script.
