Are 2257 statements required on all vids?

I see a lot of sites with 2257 compliance statements at the beginning (or end) of their preview videos and I'm wondering if this is a legal requirement, or if they're just adding this in "just because" for an extra feeling of security?

Some do, some dont, ask a lawyer in your area, nobody knows what the fuck 2257 means anymore.

It has become frustrating for sure.

Think this way. How hard is to to add that on the end of the video? Will it really put you out to do it? Or will it put you out more to pay a fine and maybe do 7 years in jail?

Like Matt said. Speak to an attorney. In the mean time a little more work never hurt no one.
