Hello, new to the board ..kind of, couldn't post for a while.
Anyway been here for a while, mostly reading stuff.

One question I do have is,
Whats the best way to get a shit ton of traffic to a members pay site ?

I always see traffic trades, and a lot of posts like that
but mostly they are for tgp sites and blogs ..

Affiliates obvioulsy, but that still seems to be slow

For a burst of traffic in the short term, purchase is one of your (best) options.

Medium to long term, SEO is the way to go :-)

Hi thanks everyone, in my experience so far buying it doesn't seem to convert. I'm definitely looking for an affiliate program manager that can take the brand I've created to the next level. I want to meet the talented webmasters that 'get' my brand. I'm over fumbling around with it and the trial and error approach. I've learned enough!

Be careful who you hire for SEO work. LOTS of them will fuck you right in the ass.

SE traffic is the best but can and usually does take time to get. You can buy traffic. If you buy carefully you CAN make sales. You just have to know what you are doing..

affiliate programs take a little while to build but they work because they get you good targeted traffic... especially in that niche... It took us a while to get ours of the ground and even in it's infancy it gets us the right members... more and more each month...

try to do a search or post a request for the actual TGP niche that u wanna submit to.

Welcome to the board. The best way to get traffic is through obtaining partner accounts to tgp sites, affiliates, buying traffic, creating sites to promote your original site with, banner exchanges (not that great though unless your trading with high traffic sites) and submitting your content to blogs, adult directories, message boards, posting to newsgroups...etc. There are other ways to drive traffic too but those are the main points to consider when trying to drive traffic to your site.
