So i make a post on my front page. Picture, Description, and Links.
Instead of having my image link point to the gallery on the affiliates site, it goes to a page where i have the thumbnails shown. These then link to the full version on the affiliates site. This way i can have many more alt tags for google to look at. However, on the second page where the thumbnails are located, i copy/pasted in the description from the original post on my front page. Reason is, so when the surfer is playing with himself and looking at the full versions, he can read over the description and hopefully click some more tags.
Will this actually hurt my SEO for having duplicate paragraphs?
Maybe it works better, to only display the image on the front page, and save the description for the gallery page, or vice versa.

So, what do they want? To deliver relevant results and to not to be screwed over by "clever" webmasters who discover tricks to alter those results.
